Hey everybody finally was warm enough to start riding again which is exciting. Anyway pulled my quad out this year checked over everything, fluids were all good, air filter was still clean and good. Seemed to start decent I let it warm up for a good while and then ran it for like an hour got some fuel then all the sudden I’m riding in the ditch and it squealed really loud and seized up with just under 20 hours on my full rebuild from last summer. Brought the quad out the garage to do some maintenance I bled the front brakes got done with that and then moved on to an oil change while the Tranny side was draining I moved on to the engine side and went to drain it and I look up and… there’s these?‍♂️?‍♂️ such a bummer looks like I’m gonna be tearing this thing down. Hello I recently did a full motor rebuild and on my 2005 Honda trx450r I put a big bore kit with a new crank shaft and new valves this is my first time ever inside of any kind of motor but I made sure as I put it together everthing was perfect down to the torque specs I have checked my valve clearance and double checked it and checked that my timing is good I haven’t changed anything on the carb since the stock transformation I thought the bike was gonna start but when I go to kick it it has... Just got my 2006 race bike put together for flat track, ran fine at home during testing and during practice at a friends track. Got to the first race and I couldn’t get it to stay running long enough to complete one race. It started backing and popping close to idle and won’t run if you aren’t giving it gas, ONLY DOES THIS WHEN WARM, when it’s cooler it runs like a bastard.
