Hey all first question from me.. I have a couple of Bayou 220's I have had for awhile and wanted to get some help to get them running. Both are garage sale rejects and were pretty complete and the first one I am asking help for has this issue: When I turn the key on the starter engages and will not stop.. previous abusers/owners have a custom wiring harness and I replaced the handlebar switch and the correct solenoid. Does anyone know what would cause the fly wheel to bind I don’t believe the motor is locked I can turn it over by hand partially but can’t get to the t mark on the flywheel whether I turn it left or right it binds about a 2 inches before hitting the mark on both side i can’t check the timing without getting to the t mark and I’ve took the starter off to remove starter gear to see if it would spin completely and still won’t any suggestions on what it would be or what I could try? Hello I recently bought a Chinese 250cc with a GN300 it had spark when I bought it and go figure brought it home to clean the carb and now I have no spark (tested by connecting spark plug to the block) it is a DC system which I have power at both prongs of my ignition coil and even have battery power at my spark plug.
