Well. They always say to save you work so you don't lose it... Well, I hit the save button and libre office writer went completely unresponsive. So after twenty minutes I decided to end the program. I have mine set to save every so often but when I went to see where backups are saved to, they are saved to a non existent directory. So... Is my work lost for real because libre office doesn't know how to select a real directory for back ups? I don't understand how this happened. I recently updated to the latest version of the suite but I noticed that Writer has huge issues with "carriage return" and justified text alignment, sometimes the text goes outside the margins or the line brakes outside spaces, splitting words and adjacent typographic symbols. I love libreoffice, promote it to other people all the time BUT I do NOT want it to pop up little guesses in a box as to what I am in the middle of typing. Sometimes it even fills in a phrase or word for me based on its guess and I have to actually FIGHT it. I have looked through the menu at all the auto correct stuff and I cannot find out how to make this stop. All my entries are headings (Heading 1). When I select the one I want it looks as if the hyperlink is in place (the text is formatted as a hyperlink) but when I CTRL+click all that happens is the hyperlinked text moves to the top of the screen.
