Progress with 6 Potomac Street took another dipsy-doodle. Dad and I are working through the obstacles one step at a time. It’s about as fun as a naked hot yoga session with the current and former president. “Look, daddy. A shar pei dog!” “Son, stand up straight. That’s our President’s ass.” At least we have most of our possessions out of the house. Once we sort things out, there will probably be one hell of a garage sale. Good news! We have some meetings next week that should, God willing, get things moving on repairs to the house. In other news, I managed to get my Dobro 33H guitar strung up for lap-style playing. I will be able to keep playing while I wait for my hollowneck Weissenborn from Lazy River Guitars. The Dobro is in bad shape, but sounds okay. It still needs to have the neck reset and probably a new cone. For now, I am grateful to have it. Now that I have something to practice with, the next obstacle is finding a way to hold my steel.
