I've loved this forum since I first joined years ago. I've harvested tons of information that helped me plan trips, restaurants and where to stay. I've actually helped others do the same. I've spent countless hours looking at posts by other folks and enjoying trip reports that were shared and commented on by me and other forum members.
I offer sincere thanks and appreciation to Andrea, Walt..... and Jackie for all the time, effort and compassion in steering our wonderful ship! Again.... thanks! And a big thanks for all the posters that made me smile 'out loud' for your wonderful posts!

I figure I better ask now since there’s only a few days left. We want to visit Arikok in June since we’ve never done it. We’ll have a car and know not to go off roads. I know it’s large and we’ll go early in the morning, but for anyone who’s done it where should we start? We’re not too adventurous but we’d like to see it. My husband would like to get to the top of Hooliberg ( so he could say he saw Venezuela ) and I told him that’s a hard NO for me. I trip over my own feet so I could see myself tumbling down! Maybe if we were younger I’d consider it, but that ship has sailed ..read more

Please be aware that the Natural Pool is not a calm "mill pond"
pease use extreme caution.
You may not be able to read this screenshot, but I paraphrase.... the person that wrote said that she was knocked about at the Natural Pool from a wave. She smashed into rocks and went underwater.
The Arikok's Park Rangers administered first aid.
An ambulance was unable to get to the site.
I did not post her name or her entire face for privacy reasons.
