Easy DIY First-Year Monthly Photo Banner
Everyday She Moms

One of the things I loved most about my middle daughter’s first birthday party was her monthly photo banner. It was gold and glittery and showcased how she grew month over month – and now it’s a must-have at all the first birthday parties in our family. But, while I loved it for her birthday, it was the first one I ever saw. So, after a bit of debate (and a lot of procrastination), I decided to do my own DIY first-year monthly photo banner for my second baby girl when her first birthday came around! Although I love crafting, I rarely have time for it, and this was a project I stayed up late an ..read more

Easy DIY Pallet Wall T.V. Mount (with Floating Entertainment Center)
Everyday She Moms

I am forever thankful that my hubby loves to do DIY projects – and he should with the tools that we’ve purchased throughout the years. And, I’ll be honest when he first came to me with this pallet wall floating shelf thingy, I was like “No thank you” – I wanted a traditional, large, and chunky dresser-style entertainment center with a huge amount of storage. This pallet wall TV mount is the complete opposite. Thankfully, it looks good and we decided to up the amount of storage in the rest of the den to compensate along with reducing the number of items we stored to begin with. How to Build a D ..read more

DIY Boho Laundry Basket Baby Photo Sesh
Everyday She Moms

About a week ago, my sister and mother convinced me to purchase a baby headwrap bow instead of my typical baby bows – I’m not a huge fan of tiny bows and I don’t like big bows, I like the mid-size with the fabric strap (call me picky). I admit the headwraps are cute, but they just never called to me while shopping – and you can typically buy 2-3 regular bows for the price of a headwrap in-store. Nevertheless, I bought it. Return back to today and it’s finally been washed and placed on my baby’s head – the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! Well, we went out to finish the laundry and a few spill ..read more

The #1 Cleaning Hack for Toddler Moms
Everyday She Moms
by mckaylas

I didn’t know the meaning of ‘mess’ until we hit the toddler stage. I’ve never been one for a perfect home, there’s always some type of clutter – but being a toddler mom, my house became an absolute disaster, and cleaning was overwhelming, to say the least… This is what caused my discovery of the #1 cleaning hack for toddler moms! I would be lying if I said my house was spotless, but now, my house is liveable in the sense that my kitchen is not overrun with dishes, I’m not searching for the last pair of little boy shorts (potty training is no joke), or stepping in-between Hotwheels a ..read more

Navy Blue and Yellow Themed Newborn Photoshoot
Everyday She Moms

I’ll be honest, when I scheduled my newborn photoshoot I didn’t have any idea of what I wanted. We kinda just put it together as we went! Luckily, we created this navy blue and yellow themed look that turned out to be my absolute favorite out of all three – and I’ll be getting printed to hang in the house. These photos were taken by So Everleigh Perfect Photography, a local photographer who took both all of Addie’s downtown maternity photos and Addie’s Snow White Inspired Newborn Photos – which you can check out here. *Note: This post may contain affiliate links, which means I make a ..read more

What to Expect When Your Toddler is Cutting Their First Molars
Everyday She Moms
by mckaylas

I’m not going to lie, experiencing my toddler cutting his first molars was something else! While I was very familiar with teething symptoms, this time around threw me for a loop! Carson was less than a year old when he cut all eight of his front teeth over the course of about a month – definitely a painful time for both of us. When his next teeth came in, I expected it to do the same. One tooth would break through then the rest would quickly follow. Cut to a few months later, around 16 months old, and we’re getting the early signs of teething. You know, the drooling, irritabilit ..read more

Easy 15-Minute DIY Bow Hanger For Your Baby Girl
Everyday She Moms
by mckaylas
2M ago
Did you know that I am a HIGHLY impulsive DIYer? Very rarely do I ever pre-plan a DIY project that takes more than a few days, or rather, more than a day. My husband is the same way. We’re rather impatient with our projects, no matter how hard we try to pace ourselves (or plan ahead). This 15-minute DIY bow hanger is a prime example of this! Built from items I have on hand in the house – I’m an avid craft/project supply collector – this bow hanger is what I’ve been shopping on Amazon for and couldn’t find for the past six months. Pretty much since my little girl was born! Since I cou ..read more

Going to Disney World at 20 Weeks Pregnant: What I Wish I Knew!

Yes, I decided to go to Disney World at 20 weeks pregnant. No, I was not a huge huge Disney fan. Almost six months before said trip was to take place, we were already in the midst of planning. My sorority family and I would go and visit our big (I’m a set of triplets) who was going to be in the Disney college program (don’t quote me on the name) and would be staying in Florida. Of course, I didn’t realize that I would be almost 20 weeks pregnant then. I had to reschedule my anatomy scan because it was meant to be on the morning we wanted to drive down to Florida. My Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Gender Reveal
Everyday She Moms

Back in February of 2019, I decided to have a gender reveal party to figure out whether or not Carson was going to be a little girl – or little boy! Obviously, he’s a little man! But we didn’t know that then! To celebrate our first little together, my husband and I decided to have an entire Twinkle Twinkle Little Star gender reveal. Even though the theme was decided before we took the blood test for gender, my sister accidentally spilled the beans a few days before (no surprise) – but the blue fit in the end! DIY’ing The Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Reveal Cake My sister made the cake – chocol ..read more
