Started an infused mead yesterday. Infused 2.65g Zwatz S1 flower rosin that I grew and pressed myself into 2 cups raw clover honey. Added the infused honey, topped off with more raw clover honey till 3.5lbs. Added water, mixed, and then yeast slurry and capped with airlock. Been adding nutrients for the yeast and aerating. Gonna add vanilla bean and medium roasted Hungarian oak in secondary. Started 4 more Meads today. The one gallon batches are blackberry, pear, and peach. I am looking for a way to infuse honey. I have infused coconut oil, and MTC oil but not sure I want to use them for the honey. Is there anyone else out here who gets no effect from edibles? I’ve been trying them for years Everything from brownies to gunnies. A buddy broke some gummies out a while back. My wife ate one and her lips went numb. I had 8 and felt like i got a better buzz from a drink of water. I use a Pax 3 for day to day fun, but I would really like to find a way to enjoy edibles. Hi all, back with more questions. I made my first gummies from tincture. Several “issues” came up: Used the MagicalButter machine. 14g White Widow to 2 cups Everclear. Recipe calls for 1 cup reduced (7g Cannabis). So I reduced my tincture to FECO, supposedly. But I have no idea when it is FECO? It reduced to almost nothing, and black flecks abounded. Hey guys, i’m only starting my first grow but i’ve been making my own moonshine for a long time. While reading some threads here on infusion and extraction I started wondering if I could somehow infuse it with weed? Then I got real excited when I saw the one about distillation extraction but upon watching that video it looks like it requires a much higher temp than distilling moonshine. I could hang some in the distillate path but that would only be for flavor and aroma.
