Used herb from Dry Herb Vape - good for cooking??

Just wondering (as I tip another bowl of toasty used herb into the bin from my vape) could this stuff actually be useful? I vape at 165-180C and once I've finished the weed in the bowl is brown/green (not black or charred). I'm presuming that it still contains some terps (smells lovely and toasty). Do you think I could make something out of this to extract the last bits of 'goodness'? Would it have had enough time to deoxycarbolyse? Just a thought. Any ideas ..read more

Canna coconut oil experience
UK420 » Cannabis Cookbook

Hi all, I read everything I could find on the Internet before I made my coconut oil, so I thought I would share my learning to hopefully save someone the effort!   I can not smoke- it's too much, my tolerance is too low and it makes my mind race and not in a good way plus as a reformed smoker it's too tempting. So we decided to eat the weed but I am diabetic so cakes and brownies are out.    I have just completed my first ever grow and made around 2.5 litres of coconut oil from 3 plants. Each 250ml of oil has about 8g of flower. I bought a nebula boost to decarb and infuse which ..read more

Magical butter machine.

Afternoon all. I'm hoping to make some canna butter this year, and seen this machine for sale on amazon.  Has anyone got/tried this machine.  It seems to take a lot of work/effort out of making the butter. Also, before I attempt to make the butter, can I just go straight from the jar with the herb, or do I have to decarb it first in the oven ..read more

Hi all, I am just about to harvest my plants. I intend to make tinctures and canna coconut oil with my nebula as I can't smoke it.   Question I have is, do I need to dry and cure it first or can I go straight to decarb? Has anyone done this? Did it work? Or am I better to dry it first.    Thanks in advance  ..read more

Decarbing using an air fryer
UK420 » Cannabis Cookbook

Air fryers have really dropped in price lately, so I picked up one and we will be using it instead of the electric fan oven when preparing smaller meals. Uses about half the electricity.   It seems to have quite precise temperature control, and I thought why not try decarbing weed in it? Checked online and there are guides to doing so. I make edibles regularly (mostly coconut oil) so if I can do so without using so much electricity, could be good.   Anyone here done this?     ..read more
