For the past year or so I've been using trail cams with third-party macro filters for filming birds at close range on my feeders. Presently I'm using a Campark T300/TC02 cam with integrated solar panel. I've produced a video showing how I attach the macro filters to the camera. Full details in the description. I included some sample footage also Thought it might be of interest Campark T300/TC02 Trail Cam with Macro Filters ..read more

Quality "wireless" garden camera?

Hi, wondering if anyone can recommend a quality "wifi" camera for garden use. We've a couple of simple cameras already (amazon-special ceyomur cy50 and a spypoint force20) but I'm fed up of having to remove the cards every morning to check them. I've started looking at wifi cameras, but the more serious cameras (was attracted to the new zeiss/secacams) seem to operate over cellular networks and attract a monthy useage fee which i'm absolutely not interested in. Cheaper cameras (back on... Read more ..read more

I have just bought a Usogood TC30 and night time videos are OK. The problem is that daytime ones are pink. Tried resetting it, doing different settings to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. I know it's only a 'cheap' one and I cannot afford much more but I have seen some reviews on YouTube and there is not sign of 'pinkness'. Thanks Brian ..read more

Charging it up now, a Digitgarden Trail Camera. I leaned towards just documenting what's around and scouting areas over getting high quality pictures, so I intentionally didn't spend a fortune. I'll let you know over the weekend how it works ..read more

Hello and welcome!! To all owners of camera traps, those who lust after them, and those with a passing interest. And others. This thread open to all people who use camera traps, the idea being we post stills or videos (is there a way to do that on bf?) of as many different species as we have. Only recently having aquired my beloved Bushnell camera, so far I can only rustle up a measly eight (fox, rabbit, grey squirrel, wood mouse, wren, magpie, carrion crow, woodlouse(!!)). I also have... We have a birdhouse and would like to watch as the birds fly in and out, and then the fledglings leave. In addition, we would like to have a birdhouse that has a webcam built in it. We have a Wyze, and the optics are not optimal. Does anyone know of a good webcam that I can mount outdoors, can be wireless, so I can watch on the iPad, has a high quality zoom, and I can move it from side to side? Also, I would like to get one for a house wren birdhouse. Thanks ..read more

Hi all! Over the past 4 years I've owned a Bushnell, a Little Acorn and a Victure trail cam. They seem to last about one year and then pack up! Can anyone recommend at model that they have used that is in their opinion robust and reliable? I think all these are Korean or Chinese and programmed to self destruct after 12 months of use! All recommendations will be appreciated ..read more

I'm looking to find reliable information detailing what is required to set up a 24/7 live camera on our feeders and other wildlife area. I know it can be done, but don't have a clue what I need to do it reliably. Anything you would be willing to pass along will be appreciated. Needs, sources, cost, etc. Thanks Barney ..read more
