At this Years exhibition the Department  for Business and Trade shared a stand  with CIEL to promote the UK agritech offer at the Expert Advice Centre with 8 Trade officers from British Embassies based in Africa attending accompanied by commercial delegates from their respective counties. The UK and Ukraine have this week launched a new initiative to facilitate commercially-driven partnerships and growth in tech sectors includeing Agri Tech to further support Ukraine’s recovery. On the 5th of October Chris Jackson UKTAG and Rob Grinnall UKECP attended the meeting the Brussels where the topic of discussion was Charting the Path for Ukrainian Agriculture. Participants came from across the EU as well as outside to listen to the financial sector, political figures and agricultural industry who all had interest in the future of rebuilding Ukrainian agriculture. Kazakhstan Hereford cattle breeders visited the United Kingdom from 21 -23  June looking for genetics to improve their industry The British embassy in Astana working with UKTAG and the UK Hereford Breed Society organised an inward mission for senior members of the Kazakh Hereford Chamber starting with a visit to the Royal Highland show where they saw some of the very best cattle that the United Kingdom could supply in addition to suppliers of equipment which is also very much in demand in their country.
