On Monday 13.06.2022, The Board of Control of Cricket in India ( BCCI) announced a hike in monthly pensions of Former Indian Cricketers (both men and Women) and former umpires!
As per the new decision made by BCCI, the First-Class players who were entitled to get Rs 15,000 will now get Rs 30,000, The former Test Players, will receive Rs 60,000 instead of 37,500, and those who were paid Rs 50,000 will now get Rs 70,000.
The Women Internationals who receive Rs 30,000 will now receive Rs 52,500.

Indian Cricket Legend Mithali Raj has announced her retirement from all formats of international cricket on Wednesday (08.06.2022). She Captained the Indian Women’s Test and ODI Teams. Mithali Raj, the best female batter the country has ever seen who made her international debut in 1999, is also the highest run-scorer in ODI history. Team India was often blamed for not having bowlers with raw pace and agility. Indian team hugely relied on medium pace bowlers with swing and the magicians who can spin. When bowlers like Courtney Walsh, Curtly Ambrose, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar, Muhammad Sami, Brett Lee, Shown Tait, etc. rose to fame with their quickness in speed and threatening bowls there wasn’t any name from India to stand along in that list.
