AN “extremely gifted” Drumblade musician who developed his talent in a tough set of circumstances has released his first album.
Melodeon whiz Aaron Clark has Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia and Tourettes.
Despite facing challenges when trying to engage with music at school, Aaron found the inspiration to learn his instrument after he inherited his Grandad’s melodeon in 2019.
Despite only starting his musical journey recently, he has already gained plaudits from top musicians, promoters and producers.

People living with developmental disorders including ADHD and autism say stigma and misconceptions surrounding their diagnosis have left them feeling ‘filled with shame’ at work.
Tilly Morgan, 29, from Caerphilly was diagnosed with ADHD, autism (AuDHD) and dyspraxia earlier last year. Ms Morgan said despite her diagnosis helping her better understand herself, she has continued to struggle in the workplace.

This is Milk is seeking £1m of investment for its ‘neuro-diverse first’ online learning platform Neve, which aims to meet the needs of people with dyslexia, dyspraxia, attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

A conference on the benefits of employing neurodiverse people will be held in Aberdeen in May.
The one-day event, named Neurodiversity in the Workplace – Unlocking Potential and Driving Business Success, will mark the return of the ADHD Foundation’s Umbrella Project to the city after it launched last year.
Colourful umbrellas will appear throughout the city centre again from the end of May until September, symbolising the ‘umbrella’ term of neurodiversity which encompasses ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyspraxia.

Neurodiverse people are more likely to be in debt than neurotypical people and feel less confident about managing their money, according to new research.
This is something Heike Knip, from Horley, Surrey, knows first-hand. He is autistic, dyslexic, has ADHD, and believes his neurodivergent brain has made managing his money trickier.
“While my ADHD means I sometimes can be hyper-focused on things, I find it harder to prioritise my finances with any urgency,” says the 40-year-old, who runs an SEO company as well as a consultancy offering companies neurodiversity training.

Kayleigh has been at Cafcass as a family court adviser (FCA) since summer 2022.
She was diagnosed with dyspraxia and social communication disorder when she was a child, and was further diagnosed as autistic when she started university.
