I raced the Saturday event at Orlando Speedworld..it was "interesting" to say the least..I got there at 7:30AM...gates opened at 8 and in I went..found a pit spot and unloaded the truck...same old problem again... I towed up to Gainesville for their weekend bracket race..got there at 6PM on Friday..unloaded the truck and headed to the hotel and dinner...checked in the hotel and, oops!...the room was not as advertised...I cannot sleep in a bed but the online pics showed an easy chair with ottoman I could sleep on...they redid the rooms and that was gone...had to check back out and get another room somewhere...tried fifteen other hotels in Gainesville and all were booked solid..huh?..turns out there was the annual spring football game, the orange and blue, on saturday..I finally got a room at a Quality In ..read more

I raced the opening points event at Orlando Speedworld last weekend...what a deal that was!....I towed to the track on Friday afternoon for the test n tune and Gamblers race that night...got unloaded and ready and as I got in my truck to make the first pass...yup...in came the rains...sigh...covered the truck and packed it in for the night...got a little late dinner and went home...sadly, I only got 45 minutes of sleep...I have been an insomniac for 35 years but this was ridiculous...lol...I forgot to say it took me two hours to get into the track due to volume of cars and they opened the gate ..read more
