I, Matt, found myself in Philadelphia as part of my first trip to the east coast outside of NYC, and was unsure of just what kind of gluten free scene awaited me in Philly. Would it be stellar, like the incredible gluten free scene in New York City? Or underwhelming, like I found eating gluten free in Boston to be?
The answer is somewhere in the middle. It’s definitely more varied and interesting than Boston, but nowhere near the level of New York City. Which isn’t surprising, because Philadelphia is a relatively small city, comparatively.
In Philadelphia, you’ll be able to indulge ..read more

However, travel is about more than just the food, and Boston is well worth a visit for the history and culture. The intent behind this guide is to help you find safe gluten free places to eat while you’re in Boston.
Just know that you’re probably not going to be blown away by the food (with one exception: Kane’s Donuts ..read more

Wondering where to eat gluten free in London? First of all, you’re in the right place. We recently spent two weeks in London, and most of that time was spent eating our way through London’s excellent food markets, many of which have a great array of gluten free options.
I, Matt, have Celiac Disease, and need to eat strictly gluten free. But I also love food. When we started talking about a trip to London, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Fish and chips? Toasties? It didn’t sound particularly promising for gluten free food.
However, I was quickly proven wrong. London is one of the best glu ..read more

Lisbon is a wonderful city, full of rich history featuring a diverse cast of characters who have undeniably left their mark on Portugal’s capital. One of the things that makes Portugal a great food city is their access to fresh ingredients, whether it’s the farm-fresh fruits and vegetables coming in from the fertile farmland nearby, the fish coming from the oceans and rivers within a few miles of Lisbon, or the meat coming from small family farms on the outskirts of the city.
Oh, and the wine, of course. You can’t forget the wine. Portuguese wine is both tasty and cheap, which begs the questio ..read more
