Hibs fans berating the team and manager and having altercations with them after a late defeat doesn't benefit anyone. On Saturday we played well but got suckered at the death. The winning goal was under 14 level stuff but the supporters constant barracking of the team week in week out has in my opinion made Hibs as a team edgy for a very long time in the last throes of games. The media (ie John Robertson on Radio Scotland, Sportscene last night, newspaper reports this morning) were all of one mind: Hibs looked good going forward but can't defend. It's such a shame we have this calibur of player in such a rubbish Hibs team, he has the potential to be one of the best forwards I have seen at Hibs, imagine him with a full pre season and playing with a few quality additions!! Right now we have about six weeks until the transfer window opens. Roughly four weeks after that our season effectively starts with League Cup groups. We have to shift players out, but much more importantly we need to bring a significant number of new players very quickly. We don't need signings at the death near the end of the window on 2nd September, we could already have kneecapped our season by then.
