My Dad is 81 and lives alone, and he told me a couple days ago that he was putting dishes away in a cabinet when he suddenly couldn't use his hands. He said they just lost all strength to where he couldn't move them at all, and his arms up to his elbows were very weak. My father in law suffered from an acute ischemic stroke in the left side of his brain on March 2nd when he went unconscious. Luckily, he was sent to a hospital within 30 minutes and they performed surgery on him including an injection to remove the blood clot and also using mechanical thrombectomy with BGC. He was in ICU for approximately 3 days. He is 81 years old and has been sleeping a lot and had pneumonia with slight fever for several days.
