I’m hoping to find a home for my routed wood track, currently in storage in Danville, California. It’s three lanes with lap lengths of approximately 115 feet. I worked on another 52 Ford over the weekend. This one is a tad narrower. I put a Bauer UL2-L under it and painted it Mica Red. I had the thin the inside rim of the rear wheels and pull them in a little. I messed up when I sanded it and flattened one of the headlights. It drives like a dream on Circuit Genovia. What are you guys using for lap counting and timing with your plastic track, specifically those using Policar (since they don't make anything at the moment). I have Oxygen and could chip cars just to solve that problem, but I like being able to just grab any car from the box and put it on the track without much fiddling (installing a chip). ideally that lap counting would interface with slot.its chrono software... Maybe this should be in the Pancake section. If so, Mr. Moderator, please feel free to move and reposition as necessary. My recent comparison of the TFX and Blizzard chassis got me thinking. The Blizzard is supposedly lower than previous Dash chassis, and if so, by how much. For comparison purposes, I'm also including data from a well prepared "Fray" type of T-Jet chassis as well as T-Jet and Dash chassis that use slip-on silicone tires (Fray Lite?).
