Thinking about buying a cart

So I live at my home course. Have a membership. Have a push cart and a carry bag. Still thinking about a cart since many of the guys I play with don't walk and I end up paying a cart fee to play with them half the time. Not really a big deal, but I'm thinking of buying my own cart because golf stuff. Used carts are plentiful here in North Florida for not much. I can get a relatively new cart for around 5K. Most are lifted, fancy tires, street legal... I don't really care much about that... Read more ..read more

I bought a new MGI Navigator AT and would like to figure out a way to attach a cooler. Really like the one @NEhomer made for his. I know others have probably come up with some great ideas. Would appreciate it if anyone is willing to share. NEhomer is the cart in the attached photo. I would like to mount it in the same spot. Would you care to share some photos of how you made it NEhomer? Any other ideas from other members would be greatly appreciated! I know they make a cooler that... Read more ..read more

Runaway Remote Cart

I was in a three ball group with a couple of random fellows yesterday - behind two foursomes that were bachelor party guys scrambling. We thought we were in for a long day - but these guys were not holding us up at all on the front. We DID run into them on the 10th tee - and they offered to let us play through - but we were not in a hurry and did not wish to break up their group dynamic by putting ourselves in the middle of the two groups. We chatted while they waited for the fairway to... Read more ..read more

I purchased a used 2015 EZGO RXV electric cart a couple years ago. Replaced the rear leaf springs with dual rate double leaf springs a couple weeks ago. Wow, what a difference. No more bottoming out, less roll in corners and it sits higher, no rubbing. Easy DIY job ..read more

Speed control sensitivity

OK, this may sound silly but my othwise great mgi navigator is just out of step with my normal walking pace. Since I like to stand under the umbrella for shade, I've really started to notice this. The 4 speed setting is slightly too slow and 5 is slightly too fast. 4.5 would perfect! Are there any brands out there that is sensitive enough that it can change speeds more subtly ..read more

For those with Apple Watches/fitbits/etc. how many steps are you averaging per round walking? I walk every round but don’t wear any devices so I can only guess. I figure it is somewhere around 10k but I’ve heard others quote much higher numbers. What are you getting ..read more
