Dub Inc is a French band and Reggae 360 recently got the chance to catch up with them. Here’s what we learned: For those that may have never heard Dub Inc, could you describe your sound? Since day one of the band, we decided to put no barriers on our influences. As we all are from different backgrounds, you can hear some sounds from north Africa, west Africa, hip hop, rock… but definitely, the main music we play comes from Jamaica. We love reggae for its sound but also its social message. And we also love dancehall for its vibes and for the entertainment aspect! Could you please describe some ..read more

Cape Cod based band Crooked Coast will be releasing a lyric video for their new single “Glass House” on January 19th. It’s their fifth release from their upcoming album mixed by LA based producer Courtney Ballard. “As a band we really take pride in our lyrics,” Luke Vose (vocals/guitar) says, “we want to paint a picture that listeners can be immersed in. The lyrics in Glass House are pretty heavy but I think they’re also fun and cathartic. We had a great response with a lyric video for our 2020 single Rise & Shine and this felt like a great candidate for that as well.” As in many of their ..read more

REVIEW! – Over The Bridge self-titled album
Reggae 360
by Jared LaFosse-Baker
2y ago
By Jared LaFosse-Baker The boys from the sleepy north shore town of Gloucester MA, Over The Bridge, started recording their first full length album three years ago, back in February of 2019. They recorded it at Revelry Studios in Manchester NH. Not only at a top notch recording facility but Joe Jamba produced the whole album with them at the studio. His addition of music knowledge and creative outlooks were just what they needed. After many ups and downs they decided now would be the best time to drop the self titled album Over The Bridge. The biggest low was the loss of their bassist Michael ..read more

REVIEW! Joey Calderaio – Runaway Lover
Reggae 360
by Jared LaFosse-Baker
2y ago
By Jared LaFosse-Baker Joey Calderaio has been hard at work on new music recently and this latest track, Runaway Lover, is a beautiful example of the fruits of that very hard labor. The song is chock full of that classic Joey reggae dub-style beats along with beefy guitar chords. His guitar and vocal range really come through clearly for me in this track. My favorite part where that’s the most clear is the bridge at the end. This is where all the other instruments cut out and it’s just the guitar, light percussion and his vocals. The clarity and smoothness of this little section really makes m ..read more

Review by David Shaw Joey Calderaio, songwriting extraordinaire, does it again with his latest collaborative endeavor called Wave of Life. Coming out hot on his recent array of collaborative releases of Paradise (ft. REVIEW! Crooked Coast – High
Reggae 360
by Jared LaFosse-Baker
2y ago
By Jared LaFosse-Baker Crooked Coast is like a wave crashing on the beach. Each wave crashes harder and harder as the surf rises, like their music, it keeps getting bigger and better! This new song High is hitting the shore like a maverick! It has a beautiful fusion of a 50s barbershop sound and that good old fashioned rock. All mixed up with that Crooked Coast funky alternative style! It delivers smooth and fast raps, heavy rock drums, and killer guitar riffs.  The guitar riff is only made better by a ripping guitar solo towards the end of the song. This guitar solo is shredded by The Qu ..read more
