Hi all, After some great advice from you guys on speakers, i now have a pair of Mission M72s. So thank you all! I now need to know how to wire them. The speakers are my actual speakers, the amp pictured isn't mine but just an image I found online as I'm not at home right now. Advice on network/WiFi streaming needed. Currently using a cheap and cheerful Google Chromecast (connected to Aux 1 of my recently acquired Marantz 7200) to access Spotify and occasionally web radio and a direct cable connection from my phone to access Apple Play - as Apple doesn’t work with Chromecast. Apart from the faff, I would also like to (obviously) maximise sound quality, especially using lossless Apple Music files. I decided to meter the terminals on the Yamaha after blowing a pair of mission mx3s on all four drivers. The law of averages has me suspicious as for all four to go at the same time is abnormal although I suppose not impossible. The usual paranoia ensued as usual and the late night OCD head scratching commenced. I decided to measure the DC offset expecting around 20mv as usual but found a uniform 40mv across all the speaker terminals. I'm going to give away a secret (some of you may already know it)... if you want an instant upgrade to your current system do this: sit in the sweet spot, cup you ear lobes forward with your hands (you can adjust their positioning and amount of concaveness to suit) and most of all... close your eyes. Many years ago I thought of developing a set of adjustable clip on 'ear lobe cuppers' but never got around to it (I think I saw a similar idea/product in a hi-fi magazine once).
