I saw Hungama for the first time few days ago. Ive seen clips online but never saw the movie as a kid. Now that Ive seen it, its one of my favorite bollywood movies. I have very little negatives regarding the film. I loved the acting, the jokes hit, but the shocking part about it, the songs were so fucking good. I remember hearing Hum To Hain Tere Dost a lot when I was younger and I loved it, but the rest of the songs were just as good. I miss wholesome and charming songs like these. Especially the one from Shaan's cameo.

coming off of haider, you’d expect shahid and vishal to come back with a bang. but we got the exact opposite, and everyone combined created a huge mess. the film is set to be very pro-“hindustan” even though the writer of the film is white and the white actor’s performances are absolutely laughable. on top of that the whole love story falls so mundane with the age gap with saif and kangana and him nicknaming her “kiddo” in the movie even though they’re supposed to be engaged. the cringeworthy dialogues, CGI and promotions with kangana starting drama especially in KWK, only saving grace w ..read more

I honestly had never even heard of it and what a fabulous cast! Harshvardhan even nailed the accent!! Was it just me and I missed out on a good watch or bad marketing or is it that such gems are always lost into obscurity because Bollywood only values big banners and big names?

Hello people. Please do suggest me good Bollywood movies preferably around 1950s to 1990s. Asking this question because I'm from South India and have idea about films from 2000s but I have no idea about the films before them.

Someone told me it alludes to things like prostitution even though the lyrics seem innocent.

So I personally liked heeramandi. Apart from sharmin segal’s acting. It was a good one time watch. However i think a bit of research should be done when making a movie like this. When someone die they were saying la ilaha il allah which is what’s the core muslim belief. There is one god and prophet muhammad is the last messenger of god.
They were saying this when someone dies. When someone dies we say inna lilahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon. To him we belong and to him we shall return.
Also a lot of urdu words were mispronounced. Correcting these things isn’t really very difficult.
