The main reason to visit, of course, is to take part in the Melukat purification process.
Tirta Empul is the one temple I have visited the. most in Bali and having taken part in the purification process, I thought I’d share the details with you so you know exactly what to expect.
If you’re looking for more temples to visit in Bali, check out this post.

Bali is one of the most beautiful places I have visited and part of that, of course, is down to the incredible temples that are dotted across the island. Although there are more than 10,000 temples on the island, there are definitely some that I would consider to be must visits – the best temples in Bali.
I’ve spent a lot of time in Bali over the last few years and with lots of temples crossed off of my list, I thought I’d share some of my favourites. With lots of trial and error regarding the best times to visit, I’ve learned that every temple has it’s own ‘sweet spot’ and so I thought why no ..read more

Singapore is packed with amazing things to see and do, and there’s enough to keep any tourist going for at least a week but while there is undoubtedly an enormous amount to explore around Singapore, it’s also entirely possible to see some of this incredible country’s best highlights in just a day or two.
I’ve always wanted to visit Singapore and so I booked myself a short trip there while visiting Bali at the end of 2022. I didn’t realise how much I’d fall in love with the city and just how much I’d get done in my short time there.
Based on my experience, I decided to put together a Singapore ..read more
