Last time we talked to Daughtry was back in November, when he stopped by the Camp Out For Hunger to promote a show in Atlantic City. This past Friday, Chris and guitarist Brian Craddock stopped by the Preston & Steve studio to promote a new song and their show in Atlantic City that night with Breaking Benjamin.
They started off with a quick hello and then got right into rocking, because Chris wanted to make sure he wouldn’t lose his voice during the performance so early in the morning. The first song was their brand new song “Pieces”, which was released earlier that morning. Th ..read more

"Celebrity Jeopardy!" Million Dollar Winner, Lisa Ann Walter, checks in with The Preston & Steve Show
From Parent Trap to winning one million dollars for charity on Celebrity Jeopardy!, star of Abbott Elementary, Lisa Ann Walter graced the airwaves this morning.
We flooded the phone line with congratulatory praise, but Lisa was more than excited to tell us about her nerves going into last night's big show.
Anxiety levels were running high on the night of filming. We learned that while pressing the button early didn't affect her score, Lisa did admit to sitting out on questions she cou ..read more

How did an article in the Entertainment Report turn into one of the greatest calls Preston & Steve have ever received? Honestly, we aren’t quite sure either, but we are going try to unpack this segment of our show.
As Preston went through the daily Entertainment Report, he began to read that a few of Lizzo’s ex backup dancers are suing for sexual harassment charges. One dancer says that Lizzo pressured her to touch a nude performer at a club in Amsterdam. The lawsuit details different features of the bar, including its banana theme and nudity. None of it has been confirmed.&nbs ..read more

We at The Preston & Steve Show got to talk to one of the bands set to be at the always-glorious MMRBQ and Preston’s favorite modern band in the world: Larkin Poe!
Rebecca and Megan Lovell’s live performance in the studio this past fall still sticks with us, mainly because that is when they debuted their song “Strike Gold.” Our assistant producer Connor recently saw them live, and he loved the show. Rebecca and Megan had a lot of fun at it as well. They cannot wait to come back to Philadelphia, especially in September for the MMRBQ.
Having come up in the bluegrass scene, the sis ..read more

What do CaseyBoy and Brandon Marsh have in common? They both have a fear of sharks. Well, not so much a fear, more of a respect. The open water is where the sharks live and there’s no reason to visit them home.
That conversation was one of the many highlights of our Spring Training conversation with the Phillies Outfielder.
First and foremost, we talked about last season. Brandon said that some of his best moments of his life spent on the baseball field happened last fall. This team wants to run October back. (woo!)
Preston found a beautiful way to lead that into a hair conversation. We were a ..read more

Hawaiian shirts are a regular fixture of Charlie Manuel’s wardrobe. They fit his vibe perfectly since he spends much of his year in Florida. It was during our conversation with the World Series winning Manager that he and his wife, Missy, argue over colors. He prefers the monochrome color pallets, while she likes to pick out brighter patterns for him to wear.
That’s where our conversation with Charlie at Phillies Spring Training begin. He’s been in Clearwater since Pitchers and Catchers reported to the facility.
We flashed back to the evolution of Spring Training. Charlie’s first major league ..read more

The second time that Cindy Williams visited The Preston & Steve Show was in April 2022, to promote her one woman show at The Bucks County Playhouse.
She shared the most wonderful stories from her career: studying with Sally Fields, serving Jim Morrison cocktails on the Sunset Strip, punching Ron Howard, George Lucas pitching a little movie about teens in space.
Enjoy this very special interview with Cindy Williams.   ..read more

"I wanted to make a documentary that was not about football so that anybody could sit down and watch it and enjoy it. And I wanted to make it about working class people and their love for sport, but really their love for community."
That was Rob McElhenney's goal when he created the docuseries, Welcome to Wrexham which premieres August 24th on FX. We got a sneak peek at the first episode and can confidently say, goal achieved.
By the way, he calls it football because he "doesn't want to get stabbed."
The series takes an in-depth look at the ownership journey that Rob and Ryan Reyno ..read more
