Halloween came late for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the USC Trojans, with both teams losing this week. We start with the big news, the Grinch will no longer be able to steal Christmas now that USC has fired defensive coordinator Alex Grinch after the Trojans 52-42 loss to Washington. Rivalry week is over. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the USC Trojans faced off over the weekend, and inevitably one of us is sad. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish dismantled the USC Trojans and secured a 48-20 victory in South Bend. The Notre Dame defense made the USC offense look ill prepared and generally inept.
