Hey All, Any good public lands for bowhunting in 2A? Looking for somewhere not too far outside Pittsburgh that ideally doesn't get hit too hard (I realize that might be a tough ask). SGL 117 looks the closest but I assume that means it probably also has the most pressure. 232 and 296 look pretty sizable and potentially worth checking out, any thoughts? And any other tips on spots to scout the spring / summer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ..read more

Another US of A business closed its doors for good. They made some of the best quivers, gloves and other items imo. Brenda I think thats her name anyhow the daughter took over the business when her parents past away. I did read where she wanted to sponsor in the olympics. She seen the United States team archers were carrying quivers made in China. She was upset by that. She saids she could not rely on anyone from the family to take over the business, it was time to retire ..read more

This is such a touchy subject and last thing I want to do is offend those who use them . It also isn’t easy for me to post this because I know I am setting myself up for personal attacks . Perfectly understand why guys use them and why they find them so enjoyable. With that being said I am going to put it all out there and let it be known that I am beginning to have a hatred for them . Trail Cameras in my area are starting to get out of control and I am finding them almost everywhere I go ... Trail Camera Rant ..read more

So who here has taken the PGC approved Bowhunter Education Course? I recently just completed the course as it was required for me to participate in a managed deer hunt in Pittsburgh.. It was a lot more involved than I thought as each page was timed with chapter tests as well. Fail the chapter test and you had to go back and sit through the timed chapter again I think it took three hours to complete the course and the final exam was 50 questions. Some good information in there. Some outdated... Bowhunter Education Course ..read more
