Anyone using these out there? I may have brand new old stock but my question is they came with an orange shock collar which is a flimsy plastic. They also sent out 3 black collars which they said I should use instead of the orange. The black ones fit inside the orange so they are smaller and I tried to lock blades in with them but are too small. What are you guys using to hold them together and also not have premature deployment? Thx ..read more

Archery Ground Blind

I've been using Ameristep 2-man Doghouse blinds since I started bear hunting. They're ideal for the purpose, but I'm finding them less so for archery (Not enough room, nowhere to put the bow). My bear blinds and deer blinds are set up in different places, so I can keep using the small blinds for bear, but I think its time to get something bigger for deer. Any thoughts for a good archery ground blind would be welcome. I might even consider something semi-permanent as the location in mind... Read more ..read more

Drove out to our leased farm in Iowa this weekend. Left thursday at 3 pm, arrived on Friday at 11 am. Met the land owner around 2 pm at the farm. He gave us a grand tour of the 350 acre farm till about 630 pm. Great guy. Amazing farm! Saw a bunch of deer Probably over 400 through the weekend there and driving around. We got 10 stands set up and left 8 cell cams out there till we go back in November. Certainly not like here! Took a bunch of photos and... Read more ..read more

Seeking recommendations for Vermont outdoor archery tune-up

Would be grateful for any recommended Vermont outdoor locations in Chittenden or Washington Counties for archery tune-up. Just safe, no-grief places to throw a target block out and check pins to 80 or more yards. The public land I’ve always used is no longer accessible. (Next best, indoor ranges.) Thanks in advance. Good luck this fall everyone ..read more
