I’ve never used these before, but recently saw a guy remove them when refletching using boiling water quickly, and it sure would beat the heck out of scraping carbon for me. I'm thinking of getting rid of one of my bows and could use some insight. For some background: I've only owned a few bows since 2007. The first was an AR32 that I bought on closeout from American Archery in Lilburn when they were shutting down. I shot that bow until 2020 when I picked up a Mathews Vertix as a "leftover" right before they launched the V3. I booked a Texas Javelina hunt for after season here. I wanted to see if hunting Texas for exotics was something I might want to do in the future and figured this would get my feet wet at a reasonable expense. I also booked a crane hunt in middle Texas to coincide with the travel. The crane hunt was an expensive bust but the javelina hunt was fun and a success. I carried my Big Jims Thunderchild TD. I've been saving points for Wyoming. Up to 7 now. The area I want to hunt , I think, takes 8-10 points. I'm thinking of just putting for a general tag just not sure what area to look at hunting. Anyone going to Wyoming this year? I looked at a few outfitters and the few that answered my pm either are booked until I'm one foot in the grave or will be living in a nursing home. The story behind the CJ Alexander deer killed in Ohio this year is interesting. State claimed days later that he poached it, and confiscated the deer several days later in mid-Nov. Now it appears the tune has changed and folks are apologizing to him, and against the State’s decision. What horns do to folks, but it is huge. He just spoke his side again a couple days ago. 2014 model obsession evolution. LH. Set at 70, can move down to 60. Newer upgraded strings. Trophy taker drop away rest. Very nice bow, smooth, fast. Good karma.... Has a couple 150s under its belt!
