I’m planning to head to Colorado 2nd or 3rd week in September for OTC elk. Looking for a hunting buddy that’s serious about getting into hunting out west and killing elk & mule deer. My current hunting buddy is building a house, if he takes any time from it his wife will kill him lol. I moved to Kansas in '82 and got serious about bowhunting deer. 1st deer I took with a bow was a doe with a Jennings T-Star. Moved on to shooting a Darton Maverick for a few years and then dropped a ton of money on a 2005... Read more ..read more

I’ve always gotten iffy out past 35-40, but I think I’d swing at 50 these days in the perfect scenario - anything past that and I’m probably being unethical ..read more
