Earlier this Spring, I started my Invisalign treatment for a journey towards a straighter smile. It’s been something that I’ve considered for a couple years and I finally took the leap, so I’m here to share my journey with you so far! For background, I did have braces as child, but my teeth have shifted and I wanted to fix that before more shifting occurred. Given my circumstances and after exploring many options, I chose Invisalign.
I began my Invisalign journey back in April and time has flown by! Even though I’m only about halfway through my treatment, my smile has been undergoing a remarka ..read more

As the summer heat starts to embrace us, there’s nothing quite as refreshing as a cool and invigorating cocktail. My go-to is a lavender gin cocktail using Taynton Bay’s Midnight Gin. The mesmerizing pearlescent shimmer of it will be sure to impress anyone you serve it to!
This cocktail is a blend of floral lavender, zesty lemon, and bubbly soda water, it really is the epitome of a summer sip. Best of all, it’s super easy to make and only a few ingredients are needed:
2 ounces of Taynton Bay Midnight Gin
Soda water
Lavender buds (for garnish)
Lemon slice (for garnish)
And ice of course!

If you’re planning a European summer this year and Italy is on your list, I highly recommend Sardinia! It’s not a mainstream Mediterranean destination, but a sophisticated Italian island with the most beautiful beaches and turquoise water. Last summer I spent 5 days there, it was my first time there and I loved it so much I’m planning to go back. Here are my recommendations, I recommend planning to stay there of at least 5 days too to enjoy it!

Sardinia is a huge island, so there are many different areas depending on what you’re looking for in your trip (and they’re all beautiful)! The ..read more

It’s officially been 8 weeks since my first Fraxel Laser Treatment and about 4 weeks since my second treatment at The Skin Girls! If you’ve read my blog post about my first Fraxel Laser Treatment, you’ll know all about the treatment from start to finish and what skin concerns I was trying to target. Today I want to share all about the downtime and my routine with skincare and makeup during that time, specifically what type of products I used because it’s critical that you take care of your skin properly during this period.

The temperature has drastically dropped in Vancouver recently and my skin has already been affected by it. Every year when the seasons change, it’s a struggle for me to keep my dry and sensitive skin moisturized, especially during the winter. I felt like the skincare gods heard me this year and I was so excited that Olay reached out for me to partner up again and try their new Ultra Rich Moisturizer. It’s the brand’s new addition to it’s red jar collection and sister product of the Olay Micro Sculpting cream I previously wrote about – this new Ultra Rich Moisturizer is packaged in th ..read more

It’s that time of year again to get into the gifting holiday spirit! I typically stick to a niche style of gifts, but every year I like to update my picks, and here are mine this year!
1. Melanie Auld
I’ve been a fan of Melanie Auld’s jewelry since the brand launched years ago. I love the designs and all their pieces are high quality. This year one of my favourite pieces from them is their Love Talisman necklace, but they have so many other Talisman and Pendants so you can customize the necklace!
2. Dynamite
I don’t think I’ll ever stop shopping at Dynamite, one scroll through their New Ar ..read more

Every single Christmas, I find that the men in my life are more difficult to shop for than the women. Even if you know their interests, it’s hard to pinpoint a gift because they may have bought it for themselves already. So, I made a list of gifts that are practical, but also a great treat as a gift (in my opinion). You can refer back to this list in years to come when it comes that time to shop for someone difficult, or you just need a really good idea!

I love Summer fashion, its effortless and breezy, but sadly never lasts as long as I’d like it to. My favourite summer outfits include sun dresses, cute crop tops, and mini skirts, but lately I’ve been incorporating more pieces that I know will transition my wardrobe into the cooler Fall months. The key is to avoid the super seasonal and trendy Summer pieces in exchange for seasonally appropriate ones that will be comfortable for cooler temperatures – but that’s easier said than done. Here are my 3 favourite transitional Fall pieces that you can bet I’ll be wearing in September transitioning i ..read more

The first day of Summer is less than 2 weeks away, so it’s time to start prepping your wardrobe for the warmer weather! Typically Summer whites are my favourite thing to wear, but this year I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and add some new trends (and colour!) into my wardrobe. Here are my favourite 3 and how I styled them.
Asymmetrical top
This chic trend is the perfect addition to your Summer 2021 wardrobe! Asymmetrical necklines have been seen in the most creative looks of the season. It’s a modern option that attracts the eye and make looks unforgettable. I like this one beca ..read more

I’ve lived in Vancouver all of life and one of my favourite neighbourhoods has always been South Granville. I love that it’s only minutes from downtown Vancouver and close to so many of my favourite stores. That’s why I’m so excited to tour Viridian, South Granville’s newest boutique rental suites and here’s my honest opinion:
