Australian club soccer’s A-Leagues have agreed a deal with Komo Technologies that sees the digital specialist become an official partner of the national top-flight men’s and women’s national competitions.
A range of tools and campaigns will be deployed across the A-Leagues’ app and KeepUp browser platform, as well as via the clubs’ own digital properties.

The National Hockey League (NHL) has revealed that the latest edition of its official video game title with Electronic Arts (EA) will feature women’s players in the ‘Hockey Ultimate Team’ playing mode.
International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) women’s national team members are included in the game for the first time and can play alongside men’s players in Hockey Ultimate Team squads.

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has announced that both the men’s and women’s Volleyball World Championships will be expanding to a 32-team format.
The expansion plan was approved by the FIVB’s board and will see the next editions of both competitions begin with a larger round robin stage, featuring eight groups of four teams.

Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland have submitted a joint bid to host the Uefa Women’s Euro 2025 international soccer tournament.
The Nordic proposal would see more more than 800,000 tickets made available, with the final being played at the 50,000-seater Friends Arena in the Swedish capital of Stockholm.
Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki – the respective capitals of Denmark, Norway and Finland – would also stage games, along with the cities of Odense (Denmark), Gothenburg (Sweden), Trondheim (Norway) and Tampere (Finland).
