A new strategic partnership has been formed between Korea’s real estate leader SK D&D and co-living provider Habyt, through the signing of an MOU aimed at enhancing SK D&D’s residential solution business. Symbolising the significant collaboration, the signing ceremony took place at the Waterfront, a hotel operated by Habyt in Berlin, Germany. Specialist property lender ASK Partners has provided a 24-month senior loan facility of £18.2m to support a private client investor in the acquisition of Chiswick Tower. Real estate advisor and Newmark company Gerald Eve has released new research into the co-living sector. The data found that whilst London’s potential market for this type of accommodation is 600,000 beds, supply is forecast to reach just 11,500 beds by 2027, further highlighting the supply and demand imbalance.
