Just had my Openreach FTTC broadband installed, but I cant log in to a Draytek 2762n router to configure it.
I can only access the router log in page using the default gateway address of 192.168.1.254 (no https), as 192.168.1.1 doesn't work. However when I input the default router username/password of admin/admin it says username or password incorrect. Have done 3 factory resets to no avail, the router just has power cable and ethernet to LAN1 connected. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or...

Posted here as cannot find anywhere more suitable. Will try to keep it brief.
Have been without phone and intenet for 10 days now due to damaged Openreach pole mounted
cable a lot of which are on the ground. Been like it years. Like trying to get blood out of a stone to get them to communicate. Contacted my MP and hey starting the repair tomorrow, coincidence I think not.
Anyway I digress best speed I can get on my copper wire setup is about 3Mbps down and 0.7Mbps up

Hi,
Would appreciate if anyone can help.
Moving from VM due to latency issues as well as poor reliability — however, looking into it online, it appears EE may also have some issues.
Does anyone have experience with using EE broadband for gaming and is the latency and reliability of the connection ok? Also, is the customer service good - VMs is terrible!
I’m also concerned about the router (Smart Hub Plus) as I’ve heard of a lot of issues online.

Contract expiring and just wondering what to do...
Currently on FFTC but Giganet are building their FTTP network in my area right now. In recent weeks my address has changed on their checker from "We're coming soon" to "Your address is nearly open for pre-order".
I know it's impossible to get a timeline but does anyone have any experience on what this status means and how long it took to go live ..read more
