Unfortunately my financial situation isn’t great right now so I won’t be buying one yet. (Not terrible but more of a “make do and mend” situation for electronics and clothes rather than being able to buy anything new.) statistics: Posted by scholar — 6:19 AM - 1 day ago ..read more

Question is do they want to get one that’s hyperfibre ready or just fibre. My phone gets the same 300mb speed my fibre runs at, so it's good enough for most people. Free from Vodafone / One is a good deal though! statistics: Posted by Fragluton — 9:25 PM - 1 day ago ..read more

It's basically free anyway, you don't pay extra you just stay with Vodafone on your existing plan and pricing for 24 months. The Deco x50 kit will cost you $400 to $500 if you go buy it at PBtech, and there is no way you can save $400 to $500 over 2 years by switching to another ISP unless the other ISP's monthly price is cheaper and they also give you a free mesh wifi kit statistics: Posted by S ..read more

If wifi is fine, i'd just get a mesh setup. I have a TP-Link Deco setup and it gives me full fibre speed anywhere on my property. I likely run the same router and the wifi was spotty at best but worked ok. A two pack might be enough if the area isn't too big. Plug one directly into the router, disable the router wifi and use the mesh. Relatively easy to setup. Even one might be enough depending on the area to cover. Pretty sure mine is M4 which has gigabit LAN ports onboard. It's consumer stuff but I think for 99% of people it's good enough. statistics: Posted by Fragluton — 9:21 AM - Today ..read more
