Back on the road, headed for Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Bosnia. Should be a good run. Doing it budget spec with the L200 and the swag. The last photos are of the setup I did over the last few days so we can have a fridge. submitted by /u/Cruisn06 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I'm planning to explore much colder parts of the planet with my Jeep Camper build, and one of the reasons I went with the diesel engine is so I can tap into the diesel tank to run a diesel heater. I decided to permanently mount the heater out of the way in a storage cupboard so that I don't have to mess with carrying it around in a Pelican and filling up a tiny diesel tank, etc. I did a ton of research, and the install spanned a few days start to finish to get everything buttoned up and running perfectly. I really hesitated over buying a cheap one, or going with the brand name (Espar). From ..read more

Hello! I have a 1991 Mitsubishi Pajero which I am converting into an off-grid/overland style vehicle. I have some equipment (linked below) that I am working to install so I can charge 2 House batteries off of solar but also charge them either simultaneously or standalone by my alternator via an isolator. I marked 550w of Solar in the diagram but technically its 600w. Questions I have: Is the diagram below (I don't have fuses, but I will put them in close to the positive side on each of the connections) how this should be configured? I am worried about not having the charging go through one ..read more

So i am new to overlanding and have not gone out yet (just got the old ranger running finally) and am thinking of getting some form of shelter. I have a enthuze 2 person roof top tent, box topper and plan on using the tailgate for cooking. Was thinking the 270 is cool for it being mounted and ready to go as well as easy setup solo and covering close to the RTT but the canopy is nice so i can use it to cover anywhere i want and use it with my toy hauler or at my camper. So my question is for a weekend warrior overlander, mostly solo, using the shelter for getting out of the sun and rain, w ..read more
