EcoFlow 800w Alternator Charger Question

Is anyone using the new EcoFlow 800w alternator charger? I have it connected to my EcoFlow Delta 2 Max, and it's really fast! Here's how it works: you set the voltage limit, and then when you start your Jeep, the charger kicks in once the voltage hits that voltage. I've set mine at 13 volts, but I've noticed that the charger only starts when the voltage hits 13.6 volts. It would be better if the charger could start at a lower voltage, for example, 13.3 volts. The adjustments are currently in... EcoFlow 800w Alternator Charger Question ..read more

Alternatives To Ursa Minor?

I camp inside the rig on a custom platform I made (pulled the rear seat, etc.), but I've been considering upgrading to something like an Ursa Minor. What other alternatives are out there? I know there was a nice-looking option from Hatchet Overland for a bit, but they've gone out of business apparently. I stumbled across someone online talking about finding one overseas and getting it imported recently, but I don't remember where I saw it and cannot find it anymore. I also found a couple... Hey all, finally got myself into the Jeep life after having driven family members for too long. I have a 2021 JL 4-door and am itching to get a RTT as we're always out camping, hiking. I've been trying to figure out which option is going to work, safely and securely. After reading a handful of posts on here, it seems like I'm trying to decide between the DeeZee 60" (front and back) rack [https://www.deezee.com/home/productdescription/14622/Roof-Rack] or the Rhino Rack heavy duty... Hey everyone, Wanted to see if anyone had any real world experience with one (or more) of the following 270deg awnings. I have narrowed my search down to the three based on size, build quality, and weight. At Overland Expo PNW last weekend I was able to see the new Deltawing from Ironman 4x4, and talk with the reps a bit. I like some of the features like the pop up at the mount to slope the canvas for rain, build quality etc. However, it is the heaviest of the three, and pushing it for... Awnings: Litewing v. RTT or TTT? Help!

I currently have a Roofnext Condor 2 Overland on top of my Jeep. Love it so far but with my lift and tires makes the Jeep very tall - roughly 8' 3" to top of RTT. I live in the Midwest where most trails are fairly tight with trees on all sides and at times tighter corners. I attempted to do some trails last weekend and realized my Jeep is too tall for some lower branches. Small stuff I'm fine pushing through but if it is thick I don't want to get out and chainsaw all the time. This got... RTT or TTT? Help ..read more

Camp Showers

This topic was an offshoot of my water storage spigot question from a different thread so I thought I'd start a thread over here. It seems water distribution seems to be an opinionated topic. What's everyone using for camp showers? I've been looking at getting just a cheap shower bag off Amazon but found some DIY options was well as some super expensive options like the Yakima RoadShower ..read more

Inexpensive storage on spare tire

I finally got around to working on this little low budget project. I scored an Apache case from HF when they had their 50% off (total $30). I had some metal pieces in the garage and a heavy duty ratchet strap (would have preferred it to be black, but using what I had). Built the metal stand , permanently mounted the case to it and then strapped around tire. Feels rock solid and gave me space for a large cutting board/collapsible pan, Jet Boil stove, 2 green bottles and my battery water... Inexpensive storage on spare tire ..read more
