You may have seen the reports from brain scan research sponsored by the National Science Foundation: They discovered that the average person has up to 60,000 thoughts a day, of which 80% were negative, and a staggering 95% of those thoughts were repetitive from the day before. This seems hard to believe at first, but if you take time to look at the nature of your own thoughts, you may find that they are probably not too different from what those researchers found.
The Vicious Cycle Let’s think about this for a moment: if the majority of our thoughts are negative and repetitive, how much of ou ..read more

Spend 10-15 Minutes in Meditation
Meditation is one of the most effective ways to improve sleep. Research has demonstrated that meditation practices support the body’s circadian rhythm to induce sleep. It’s important to take time daily to clear our mind of all the chatter and clutter from the day’s activities. We need to go to the bathroom every day to clear our bodies of waste. Likewise, it’s equally necessary to take time to clear our minds – and right before bed is the perfect time to do it. Turn your phone off completely while you’re meditating so that you’re not disturbed.

The season had changed. Summer was over, and the cold wind blew, and it got cold. It was already autumn. I felt the cold from the floor of the living room. I went back to bed and covered myself with a blanket. I wanted to keep sleeping. I had a lot on my mind. I got overwhelmed with helplessness and a sense of guilt, which made me heavy. I felt like I was deep down in the swamp. That was when I suddenly saw the closet. 'Oh, that's right. I have to arrange clothes for cold weather and put the summer clothes away.' Just thinking about it made my mind heavier. Many things were to d ..read more

"One can promise actions, but not feelings, for the latter are involuntary. He who promises to love forever or hate forever or be forever faithful to someone is promising something that is not in his power." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Emotion is a feeling such as happiness, love, fear, anger, or hatred, which can be caused by the situation you are in or the people you are with. It is formed with experience and stored in the form of memory. We may remember some emotions at the conscious level, while others are buried deeper, undetected by us. It says we are creatures of emotions. Emot ..read more

But what I’d like to share is, that kind of mind tha ..read more

On the day of the interview, I sat alongside many other applicants who were more qualified than I was. We were given an assignment ahead of time to write a project proposal and so I began to go through the ..read more
