Memorial Skatepark in Colorado Springs is one of those must see skateparks for anyone who loves the sport! Before we started travelling around the country and visiting the different skateparks along the way, I had no idea there were so many incredible facilities. And this one is no exception. The sheer size of this 40,000+ sq. ft. skatepark mixed with a downhill flow from every direction makes this a really fun place for some skatepark cement surfing with a longboard. Unique features are found in every corner of this skatepark which makes Memorial Skatepark a very memorable one.

We went on a short adventure to Southern California and squeezed in a couple skate spots including this awesome pump track in Corona. Located in Deleo Regional Sports Park, the Deleo Pump Track and Bike Park just recently opened in March of 2024. And we were happy to find that it is another great Velosolutions build – we really like their pump track ingenuity. The beautiful mountains make for a stunning backdrop to the track and a great atmosphere. Plus the pump track is super smooth and GREAT for riding a longboard at a pump track!

So you can imagine my excitement to find out about the first pump track in Los Angeles. The Inglewood Pump Track is another great example of the high quality craftsmanship that the team over at Velosolutions is all about. Our life of adventure and longboarding led us to the Railbender Skatepark in Parker, Colorado under a brisk night sky. Skating around the 30,000 square feet of concrete skatepark kept me warm. But the locals seemed unbothered by the cold as the street and vert sections of the park maintained a solid level of traffic throughout the night. I found the large vert section of the Railbender Skatepark to be another great place for riding a longboard in the skatepark.
The waterfall roll-in makes the tall vert area fun and accessible for most riders.
