Friends of the Rosary:
In today’s reading (Jn 8:31-42), the Lord Jesus explains how we can be truly free.
"If you remain in my word, you will truly be my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
The Jews were arguing that they were sons of Abraham.
Jesus replied:
“I know that you are descendants of Abraham. But you are trying to kill me,
because my word has no room among you.”
In other words, only if we are faithful servants of Lord Jesus, we will be free.

In yesterday's reading (John 11:1-45) about the extraordinary miracle of Lazarus' resurrection, the sisters Martha and Mary asked the Lord Jesus, "Master, the one you love is ill."
When Jesus heard this, He said, "This illness is not to end in death but is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it."
Through His extreme humility and merciful love towards us, the Son of God defeated not only our sins but also death.
His resurrection taught us that what we call death is a transition into a perfected life in eternity. This changes our limited conc ..read more

This fifth Sunday of Lent is the final Sunday of Lent before the beginning of Holy Week.
When parishioners go to Mass today, they will see that their church might have covered crosses and images. They will remain covered until the end of the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion on Good Friday.
And today, the Catholic Church invites us to turn our attention to the reality of the painful human experience of the death of a loved one. For believers, death on this earth is a transition into a more perfect life.
In the Gospel, we hear the great miracle of Jesus’s gift of life to ..read more

Today is the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. We commemorate the great mystery of the Incarnation, the most sublime event in history when God assumed human nature in the womb of the Virgin Mary.
It was at the hour of midnight when the Most Holy Mary was alone and absorbed in prayer that the Archangel Gabriel appeared before her. The Archangel asked her, in the name of the Blessed Trinity, to consent to become the Mother of God.
Mary bowed and gave her fiat — 'be it done’ — by saying to the heavenly messenger: "Behold the handmaid of the Lord: be it done to me a ..read more

Our lives are being overrun by noise and distractions. To that, we add our self-centered lifestyle.
The secular society we inhabit encourages us to reconnect with ourselves and follow non-sense practices that ultimately lead to misery.
We are promised a fulfilling and purposeful life. But the reality is often the opposite. These empty promises, or even outright lies, along with our own distractions, prevent us from truly experiencing life to the fullest.
It is time to redirect our focus toward the only one who offers an abundant life, the Lord Jesus, whose heart burns wi ..read more

God the Father created the human race in His image and after His likeness. Humankind is the crown of God’s creation. But, as Genesis 11, described humans rebelled against God, and we fell into sin.
Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, restored through His precious blood and laying down His own life, the Divine grace towards humanity. Since then, we are temples of the Holy Spirit, and Mary is the Spouse of the Spirit.
St. Paul reminded this privilege in his letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 3:16-23). He wrote:
“Brothers and sisters: Do you not know that you are the temple of God ..read more

To our brothers trapped in the sin of sexual immorality — which the evil one actively promotes in our society — we want to encourage to abandon their slavery and quit their unclean state by asking the grace of God through the Most Holy Mary.
There is a cure for this disease. Any sincere penitent can see their sins washed away and achieve a new, rewarding spiritual life.
The merciful Heart of Jesus Christ is our refuge.

Christ made us the light and the salt of the world, so we shine before others and glorify our Heavenly Father. This is what Jesus said to his disciples as we read in the Gospel today Sunday.
However, we will be useless if we don’t fulfill our mission and reject the grace of God. If the salt loses its taste or the light gets dark, it won’t be good for anything.
In other words, we can be children of God or children of the Evil Doer. We’re with Christ or against Christ.

While we continue praying and asking for the intercession of the Virgin Mary for the thousands of victims of a deadly earthquake in Turkey and Syria, we reflect upon the reading of today's Psalm.
It proclaims (Ps 128:1-2, 3, 4-5): Blessed are those who fear the Lord.
The word "fear" does not mean being afraid of God. It's more of a deep sense of respect, reverence, and worship for God.
To "fear the Lord" is considered to be a good thing.
The phrase "blessed are those who fear the Lord" means that those who hold God in high regard and live according to His ways will ..read more
