Hi new here ??
Joined hoping to hear and connect with individuals diagnosed and being treated such as myself, as I literally have no person's on the same journey within my personal or professional life.
Treatment started with concerta XL (felt nothing) did my own research and requested vyvanse, which was granted.
Worked up to 50mg of vyvanse and I am not really sure how or what I should be feeling? Or know if I am experiencing less ADHD symptoms. (To busy overthinking and trying to...

Do you have any insights on alternatives to a traditional university degree (or a degree apprenticeship), for an aspiring engineer with ADHD? Any insights on project-based engineering courses?
My son was diagnosed with ADD (ADHD without hyperactivity) just before he turned 16. He completed his GCSEs and A-levels (despite lockdown) and was accepted by a UK Russell Group university for a BSc in aerospace engineering - with a foundation course due to his A-level scores falling short of...

I was always pretty good at school except I got kicked out with a 9th grade education due to other activities. I was never one who was able to study or research. I was just really good at tests. I could listen to the lecture in class and that was enough. Teachers used to get mad at me because I would get bored very easily and distract the rest of the class. I never did homework and I never went out of my way to learn. I was a smart kid but I just had ADHD and was unmedicated as a kid. My...

Even this forum post feels exhausting to start writing and is giving me a slight headache, which I guess is one sign of where I’m at. I don’t have an official ADHD Diagnosis. However, I do have Autism, and am on an NHS Waiting List for an ADHD Assessment.
I have lots of passions in my life, but my main life goal is to be a writer. I’m currently developing my own tv sci-fi series about autism, and have got to creating a full treatment and pilot script, which in itself feels like a major...
