Hello, wanted to ask for the python script of LED-SMS. Based on Guide by TIM It worked well when i ran it alone but when i try to import it to another python script by just simply using import LED-SMS in the same directory, it wont work. Below is the output. Don’t know why it can’t run together with other scripts, even if i tried opening two terminals and running them the LED-SMS script will just output the below after the second script starts to run. Looking for any help kinda urgent on this matter AT+CMGF=1 back: AT+CMGL=“REC UNREAD” back: AT+CMGL=“REC UNREAD” back: No New text 1 post - 1 pa ..read more

Hi i am working on a UNI final project for my thesis, this project involves making a simple portable vehicle tracking (GPS) on a localhost webserver using Flask, Nginx and UWSGI with SQLITE3 as my database. I am using an LTE GPRS module called BK-SIM7600G breakout board that is capable of both using LTE and GPS and a Raspberry Pi 4B, why am using a LTE modem ? It’s because i want to use the 4G LTE connectivity so that i can send my GPS coordinates to my local host website instead of using a wi-fi connection , right now I’m have succeed in turning on the internet connection with using PPP (Poin ..read more

Help Build Me a Headless Plexamp Unit

Hi! I’m looking to create a headless Plexamp setup. Currently, I have a pair of Edifier S3000 Pros connected to my TV via optical and an Nvidia Shield Pro connected to the TV. So, I’m looking to create a headless Plexamp unit to listen to music without needing to go through the Nvidia Shield Pro. From a hardware perspective I am pretty lost. I know I need a Raspberry Pi 4 at a minimum and likely a DAC - whether it’s a hat or external DAC, and then whatever case etc - I’m not sure but I need it to be A: good and B: have coaxial output since it’s how I’ll connect it to the Edifiers. I am hoping ..read more

Hello everyone, I’m currently trying to integrate a 24GHz mmWave Radar sensor (Human Micro-Motion Detection, based on S3KM1110 and FMCW technology) with my Raspberry Pi 5, but I’m running into some issues. I’ve followed the connection and setup instructions as per the sensor’s official documentation, but I’m not getting any data output from the sensor. Here’s a quick rundown of my setup: Wiring Configuration: 3V3 to 3.3V GND to GND TX to RXD (GPIO 14 - pin 8) RX to TXD (GPIO 15 - pin 10) I have the UART pins configured as follows: $ pinctrl get 14 14: a4 pn | hi // GPIO14 = TXD0 $ pinct ..read more

Why do i need to down load a camera picture on my Rasapberry Pi 4 (using Bookworm OS) through the terminal before my ArduCam UC 882 (cable extender PCB) will down load a picture. If i don’t down load a picture first using the Raspberry Pi only , when Rj45 cable is added to the ArduCam PCB i get the message “camera not connected” 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

Hi sir, I tried to implement - Code-For-Hand-Identification-Media-Pipe-new.zip](https://core-electronics.com.au/media/kbase/527/Code-For-Hand-Identification-Media-Pipe-new.zip) on my pi5. Unfortunately, Those errors stopped the “make -j $(nproc)” process. Messages told that relatived to program “cap_ffmpeg_impl.hpp”. input_format maybe is the problem. But I am not sure. Log file like following lines. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ /home/admin/opencv-4.4.0/modules/videoio/src/cap_ffmpeg_impl.hpp:143:26: note: in expansion of macro ?V_CODEC_ID_RAWVIDEO?? 143 ..read more

Mini external USB stereo speaker not detected on boot

Hi! I recently bought these speakers for a project. While they worked perfectly with a Raspberry Pi 3, I have been having some issues getting them to work with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W running 64 bit bullsye. The issue is that on boot the speakers are not detected. I have to unplug and replug the speakers in for them to be detected. Wondering if any one else has experienced this issue and managed to get past it? Unfortunately my googling has not turned up much in the way of a solution. Cheers! 3 posts - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

To give a brief overview about my project, it is all about object detection using raspberry pi 4 model B with yolo v4 algorithm, open cv library, and coco dataset. This project/prototype is aimed to help the blind people, so technically I want my project to work like this: as the external webcam detects an object in front of it in real time, I want an audio notification saying what is the certain object in front by the use of an audio jack earphone. Currently, I am working on downloading the essential things like yolo v4 and open cv, so since I’m just a beginner, I don’t know exactly what step ..read more
