I have a new 6.5CM tikka T3 lite in a KRG Bravo. It shoots the 147 eldm and 130 tmk equally well with 1 1/8” 10 shot groups.
My most of my hunting is white tail deer with shots 20-200 yards most in the 80-150 range.
What do you guys think? I’m wanting to settle on one and buy up a barrels worth of brass, powder, and bullets ..read more

I do not expect to take any LR shots (greater than 400yds) at game anytime soon. Consequently, I do not feel the need for a high BC heavy for caliber bullets.
Has anyone used a non copper lightweight (<140g) to take medium (deer sized game) with success? I don't want to use a varmint bullet ..read more

Picked up a 30-06 model 70 extreme weather for an excellent deal and looking for some load advice. Any of the Hornady bthp worth it as a cheap range/hunting option? The .243 105 is a good performer from my experience. Same question regarding Barnes match burners.
Possible bonus of factory primed brass being available to me, saving my precious large rifle primer stash since they're still sporadically available at best ..read more

Picked up a box of 131 hammer bullets for the wife's 7-08. Already have loads for both 120 & 140 Barnes but nothing in the 130 weight class. Which powders and loads are working for anyone? I have a good selection of powders, but RL15 for 120 and H4895 for 140 are what works for us with those bullets. Thanks in advance for any information ..read more

Looking to get a starting recipe, novice match grade, probably 140gr, out of a 24" Savage 110, longest shot to 1000yds. Just wanting to calculate a ballpark $/shot.
I have no reloading gear yet, ill be asking about that next if the $/shot is favorable.
Thanks ..read more

Chronograph velocity 2954
I have been struggling using a ballistic calculator for a while now. When I put in correct environmentals and above velocity I am consistently high at all ranges using the recommended come up on the apps. When I calculate backswords using my impact point I consistently come up correction values that would be correct if I was at 3150 FPS.
I have " trued" my velocity by shooting a group at 100...
