They are my favorite and always have been. Sgt. Pepper is my favorite album and always has been. Of course I have plenty of other bands & solo artists that I love but I think I know in my heart that the Fab Four have always truly been my favorite.
I'm just wondering if anyone out there has another band that actually kind of rivals your love of the Beatles.

Hey all,
I’ve never watched the two documentaries. Can anyone care to explain the difference? I’ve no knowledge of the two except they’re during the recording sessions for Get Back and Abbey Road.
Do I have to watch it in a specific order or can I watch either? Again, I really don’t get the difference between the two so I’ve no idea how to start out with these two series.
Much thanks, everyone :)

I will admit to not knowing much about Ringo’s solo work. I have not listened to a single album he did after the Beatles, and I know I should at some point. But I just need to ask, is Ringo’s solo work just bad? Because as I’m listening through every Billboard Year-End list, and am going through the 70s (for the second time), I notice that I hate almost every one of Ringo’s songs.
It Don’t Come Easy: Meh
Oh My My: Shockingly Bad
You’re Sixteen: Creepy, hokey sounding, one of the worst songs of the entire 70s
Only You (And You Alone): Boring, cheap sounding cover of a 50s classic
No No Song: S ..read more

I’m going to sing Michelle soon at a gig I can play it in my sleep but I always stumble singing the French part. Can someone help me pronounce it? I always hear it as “some play piano and some play piano some” and now I can’t get that out of my head. Someone who’s more cultured than me, help! (Literally)

Just popped on my used vinyl of the Red Album I scooped up at a record store.
Day Tripper.
Man. I know they have better songs, more meaningful, more sonically ambitious etc… but what a BANGER.
That is all.
Oh… I wonder if anyone in Hip hop has sampled the baseline. They should!

This is got to be my favourite album ever period. I love how they blend other tracks together and I love how despite their technically being 26 songs on this album there's actually about 100 fitted in perfectly somewhere.
And with the blending of the songs together some of the really really good ones such as get back and Glass onion I genuinely thought they were part of the same track and I like how the While My Guitar Gently Weeps is more like the Anthology version with the acoustic guitar and I especially like strawberry fields forever, Its probably my fav on the whole Album, even though He ..read more
