I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask this question...Where can I find Civil Records from the Asti and Alessandria Province's prior to 1860 and earlier. Pretty much everything online is 1866 to the present...Birth, Marriage and Death.I've found my Great Great Great Grandfather Bartolomeo Silvano of Camino but not his birth ,marriage and Death Records. I do have his son Andrea my GG Grandfather birth date ( 1813) and Death date (June 15 1873).
MyHeritage, Ancestry, FamilySearch and Antenati doesn't have anything prior to 1860.... well a few years with Antenati but nothing for Cunico (Asti ..read more

I'm looking for a free attractive family tree template or software for entering only direct ancestors about 4-5 generations back.
Any ideas?

ahhh so my find was right! Martino was born in Oneglia,exGenova, now Imperia, IT. Genova was the province pertaining Oneglia. currently is Imperia. To say "natural de Genova" means that he was in Genova province, because Imperia is a more modern province. Genova is also the capital of the Liguria region.

I assume it's not the Carmelo that died on Dec 8, 1932 in Middletown, CT..?
Good thought but I believe this was a child who died, son of Luigi Pitruzzello and Anna Morello, born in the U.S.
He's mentioned in his brother Carl's obituary. Carl was actually named Carmelo "Carl" after his older brother Carmelo, the one who died in childhood.

I have no record of the Carmelo in question immigrating to the U.S. I think he remained in Sicily but I'm not certain.

There are no church records online for Palazzo Adriano, but here are the Riveli, a sort of censuses of that time:
