Ten Lessons as I turn 43. So much wiser than I was at 33 or even 23. As I reflect on this past year I know it has made me stronger, more compassionate, and steady in my convictions. 42 was filled with challenges which taught me: 1. My parents are not perfect and neither am I. They love me the best way they can and I am incredibly lucky. 2. My children are getting older and figuring out who they are. Anonymous: We have become SO isolated during the pandemic. Autism is already isolating, especially with puberty bringing rage issues. We already have no family in the area. And friends weren't being as cautious as we were while the pandemic was raging (and still a large gap now). So we were uncomfortable risking get-togethers of any kind. Further isolation. When I started this podcast in 2019, I just wanted to share our story. All things Paige (now 19) triumphs, struggles and all the in-between.
