Hi. Just installed this unit. Just a couple of queries if anyone has this.
Can I charge my battery while the inverter is “in use”
The unit has to be on for the ups function to operate. Is it ok to leave it on for prolonged periods of time?
Cheers.

I've just fitted my maxxair deluxe fan and I'm confused by the wire position, is it normal for the inner shroud to catch on the wires stopping it from seating right.
Am I meant to cut a slot into the shroud so the wires can pass through.

I’m not quite into vanlife yet, but I’ve been interested for a while and have started compiling my plans. I’m going to be honestly everything is right up my alley I’m great with my hands BUT I don’t mess with electrical and I’m not confident to. So I’ve been looking for other options. Has/ does anyone use a solar charged power bank? Such as jackery, eco flow, etc. if so what’s your pros and cons, do they work well for off the grid living? As I would in the end enjoy not having to find a physical outlet to charge it.

I’m building out my 2007 Sprinter with an electrical system complete with lithium batteries and a solar panel, however the guy I was working with fell through and I’m looking for resources on DIY (which I know there’s lots of!) or preferably any leads on companies or individuals who might be interested in a project like this. I’m based in California and would be glad to drive anywhere around the area for shops that do van electrical systems. Thanks!
