Hi fellow “dyrty” nomads! I’ve got a page here on keeping warm in your vehicle. I think I’ve got most of the bases covered but are there any additional tips or tricks I’m missing? Thanks for your help!

Being in the VanLife, you need some sort of income. I’ve had everyone ask me what will my day job be once I move into my van full time. So, I’ve decided to put together a video of my what that will look like!

Hey everyone! I wanted to say hi. I’m new to the vanlife and just bought my first van, a 2003 Ford E350 Cutaway Van with the Powerstroke 7.3L Diesel. I have not began the build yet, as I just purchased this and am wanting to research and learn. I figured this would be the place to start! Below is a video of a full walk around from my van and I am hoping to get feedback, advice and criticism. Look forward to learning from all of you more experienced vanlifers!

Tips and Activities for a Fun and Family-Friendly Experience
Camping with kids can be a great way to spend quality time as a family and enjoy the great outdoors. However, it can also be a bit challenging to keep everyone entertained and happy. Here are some tips and activities to make your camping trip fun and family-friendly.
Tips:
Choose a family-friendly campground: Look for a campground that has amenities like playgrounds, hiking trails, and swimming areas. You can also look for a site that’s not too far from home in case you need to leave early.

Hello, new here, have a 29 foot 2011 Gulfstream Kingsport that will be wintering in. I have not checked the batteries yet as I just moved in and will be setting up solar. The heat works but fridge and wall sockets do not, is this because the battery is low?

I am about to embark on a #vanlife journey. I plan on exploring America, and living out of my vehicle.
Been camping and roughing it for years, prefer spots “hard to get to” and therefore people-free, where I can enjoy myself, by myself, away from the noise of everyday life in established society.
However, there are long-term camping areas, and even regular 14-day BLM zones.
This is my first time venturing out into the unknown, and, of course, my survival brain is racked with fears and concerns.

Senior seeking to buy a cheap, used minivan in Lubbock, TX. Must be in good running condition because I don’t have the funds to get major work done right away. I’ll be putting my stuff in storage in Lubbock and ready to look starting Tues, 5/3.
If you know anyone or can recommend an honest used car lot there, it would be so helpful. I know I should try to avoid car dealers if possible. I’ve been taking notes from Scotty Kilmer because I may have to resort to that.
Thanks!

I will be putting my things in storage in Lubbock, TX and buying a used minivan to go nomad. I won’t have a permanent physical address but will be staying in a motel until I buy it and using a virtual mailbox with a street address. My driver’s license will still be out-of-state.
If I have problems registering the car there, I will drive up to Sioux Falls, SD and register it there, where I need only a receipt for one night from a motel or campground to be a resident and register a vehicle.
Can you see a problem with this? I’ve had plenty of cars but have never been in ..read more
