No late payments and it's been open for 3 years. My credit scores are 657, 687 and 677. I only get preapproved for secured cards with NFCU and Cap1. We filed for Chapter 13 last month. We had a previous 7 in 2019 so we have to wait until the 8 years to convert over.  Here are my questions.   Nevada law says that you can exempt 605k in home equity if you have owed the house for 1215 days before filing. If we are converting to to a 7, does the 1215 days go from the date the chapter 13 was filed or when the case was converted to 7?   Last question, my wife and I have some personal injury settlements that are coming later this year. Has anyone been approved for a credit card with first tech credit union after bankruptcy? I have a Capital One Savor One $2,000 and an Ally bank everyday cash card $1,500. I was dishcharged on 2/26/24. I hate the Ally card because I make several payments throughout the month and they randomly put a hold on my payments. I want a different card but discover was included in BK7 so that's out the window and I think Barclay has me blacklisted also ..read more

Hi all,   Going to call the bank in the morning but has anyone had any trouble getting a 10 day payoff for a vehicle that was discharged in bk7?   I kept two vehicles, signed a reaffirmation on one and have since paid it off.  the other vehicle I rescinded the reaffirmation on before discharge but have been still making payments.  I am looking to trade it in and I need a 10 day payoff letter. was finallyapproved for pended pathfinder $6.5k limit. I'm about 2 years 3 months post DC. My insight is that they are currently approving at the 2 year mark and I say this because I applied 7 times prior to the 2 years and was declined. Once I hit 2 years they sent me pre approvals for car loans, personal loans Etc. hope this info helps out.  im thinking im using the same inquiry and applying for another one. Hi all,   Been quite some time since I've been on and so much has happened, obviously not good since I just filed Chapter 7. It was filed on 4/18/24 so now waiting for my MOC. Hoping eveything goes smoothly and I can get it discharged via the normal timeline I am currently not working and do NOT want any cc's for a while (not that I could get any) but I am severly gardening. Hello all,   I have read quite a bit on here that capital one is one of the esiest credit cards to get after a chapter 7, even if you included them in your chapter 7. I have been discharged for a couple months now, and have a secured card i opened the day i got discharged. I tried a pre-approval at capital one and its saying denied becasue of a previous charge off. Has anyone experienced this?
