WHAT WERE THE WORST SYMPTOMS PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY? DOES IT AFFECT ALL OF THOSE THINGS?
Joe: It is all-encompassing. I can only tell you from an outside observation because I have never had it. I have only watched other people have it, which is an awful experience. The best way I could describe my observation of you and mom was this. Someone took electrical generators and placed them in your nerves and just turned them on and left them on in varying degrees usually they were on pretty high. I do not know of another good way to de ..read more

This recipe is my favorite gluten-free pancake recipe by far and my favorite way to eat buckwheat. Azure Standard sells hulled buckwheat groats. The hulled buckwheat does not have as bitter of flavor that regular buckwheat has.
Buckwheat is a seed from the knotweed, sorrel, and rhubarb family that is gluten-free. It has the minerals magnesium, iron, potassium, and phosphorus as well as having the amino acid Lysine which is often lacking in plant foods (1). Buckwheat also has flavonoids rutin and quercitin (2)(3).

Their are two types of buckwheat flour that you could use for this recipe, although I find that I prefer one over the other.
The first type of flour is made from whole buckwheat it includes the hull. This is the most common type you will probably find at your grocery store. It has that dark brown color and bitter flavor that most people associate with buckwheat, it also makes for a crumblier texture.
The second kind is made from raw hulled buckwheat groats. That is the kind that I prefer and have used when I make this recipe. It has a slimy texture when mixed with liquids that holds gluten fr ..read more

Let's talk about energy, chronic illness, and lactic acid. Chronic fatigue, chronic illness, and achy soreness often go hand in hand. In 1931 Dr. Henry Harrower said, "The slowing of muscular chemistry causes an accumulation of muscular wastes of fatigue poisons, of which lactic acid is one that has been definitely identified."
The mitochondria in your cells take the fuel from the food you digest and absorb and turn it into energy or ATP. They change fuel into energy via the Krebs cycle.
Energy or ATP is essential for your body to function at optimal levels. Almost all of the energy that the ..read more
