So we know we will have Marquette and Western KY on both the 2024 and 2025 the fall schedule for one of the pre-conference weekend tournaments as we entered into a 3-team agreement with each of the 3 teams hosting one year. We will be on the road the next 2 years. Figgie stats year-end rpi was #19 WKY, #20 UD, #23 Marquette. So that should be two Top 25 matches for us this fall. We played at UNI last season - Alayna’s hometown. Their rpi finished at #30. Hopefully that’s a home-home contract and we get them in Dayton in 2024 or 2025. Baylor finished at #27. So the roster has been updated for spring. We have 14 players, which is a lot for spring. That means we will have plenty of competition and be able to go hard against teammates and the 2-3 practice guys when they start full practices. I’m not sure when those start, but until then they do a lot of position work. For example, bringing in all the setters and working on a skill. We graduated Amelia, Lindsey and Anna. Flyers will win POY (Lexie), SOY (Alyssa) and COY (Horsmon). Lexie, Amelia, Taylor, Alyssa will be 1st Team. Alayna, Karissa are not guaranteed, but under serious consideration. That really puts us back in the hosting picture. But we are going to need more help from the teams still playing we played earlier.
