FORMER Geelong small forward Cory Gregson has returned to the club, joining Andrew Mackie's recruiting department. Sure we need players aka Atkins/Parfitt/ and to a degree Danger, re see ball get ball. But i love watching Bruhn and now Dempsey, who see things unfolding and their "timing" of the release handball / kick, is footy nouse, which is a gift. Dempseys handball release after a bounce was perfect, ya cant teach that. Bruhn, is he right or left footed? Being dual sided opens up soooooo many more options. Every commentator and their cavoodle have been pointing out that we are at the start of a run of tough matches. Earlier on, when the fixture came out, it was noted that we have an easy run home. For what it’s worth, as of this round, they were even more right than you might think. As from the end of round 6 through to R16, seven of the nine games (one bye) are against the other six top-7 sides. Yes, the arithmetic is correct: we play Carlton twice over that stretch.
