Talked to the dev through BGG, and he won't be back anytime soon on BGA to fix the issue. So we either need a new dev to take over, or completely avoid that 12b building in the future. Not sure if 10 days will be enough to fill out the gaps. This way it's only for the hardcore users and knowing a game in RL doesnt count.
